A brilliant Sunday morning of Brazillian Jiu Jitsu held at my Instructor Neil Simkin’s Martial Arts Academy, the academy hosted Proffessor & World Champion Victor Estima. Victor taught some brilliant concepts of the guard pass submission that “blew everyone away” once again. After all these years in martial arts I never stop expecting to learn something new. I being to schools and being amongst egos & idiots but never at My Instructors school………and this is what I try to achieve at our schools.The seminair was full of people just smiling and training hard, for me BJJ is about proving your worth, you cannot hide behind your belt or you get found out. Victor Estima has become world class but always has total humility, even at his young age he talks about his concepts in a way that many senior martial artists twice his age would talk. It was a pleasure being with some many great people under one roof. A big thank you to Neil Simkin for putting on the seminar, my training partner a great friend John Jones but also Darren Whitehouse & Jon Evans for supporting our school.
