Ladies Only Martial Arts / Self Defence Classes

Feel safe, strong and capable — in a class designed for women

Many women want to try martial arts or self-defence training but are put off by the idea of training in a mixed class. That concern is completely understandable — and our Ladies Only programme was created specifically to remove it.

Whether you want to feel safer walking to your car at night, build fitness in an environment where you feel comfortable, or simply try something completely different — this is where you start.

What you will develop

Our Ladies programme covers practical self-defence skills alongside martial arts technique — giving you real tools for real situations. You will develop physical fitness, body awareness, and the kind of calm confidence that comes from knowing what you are capable of.

Students regularly tell us that the change they notice most is not physical. It is the way they carry themselves. The way they feel walking into a room. Martial arts training changes your relationship with your own body — and that change shows.

No experience necessary

Most of our Ladies class students had never done any form of martial arts before they started. Some had never done any regular physical exercise. The class is taught at your pace, in a supportive environment, by instructors who understand that starting something new as an adult takes courage.

You will not be thrown in at the deep end. You will not be matched against someone twice your size. You will be welcomed, supported and challenged appropriately from your very first session.

A community of women who get it

One of the things our Ladies class members value most is the group itself. Women at different stages of life, different fitness levels and different backgrounds — all training together, encouraging each other, and making genuine progress.

Classes are available at our schools in Oldbury, Sedgley and Quinton. Your first session is completely free.
