The Early Years: Wayne Stokes’ journey in martial arts began at a young age, driven by a deep fascination for self-defense and physical discipline. His dedication and determination soon became evident as he progressed rapidly through the ranks, earning his 2nd-degree black belt.

Embracing Kickboxing: Stokes’s thirst for knowledge led him to explore the dynamic world of kickboxing. Recognizing its effectiveness in real-world combat scenarios, he immersed himself in the discipline, training tirelessly to sharpen his skills. Through rigorous practice and a relentless pursuit of excellence, Stokes eventually attained the prestigious rank of 7th-degree black belt in kickboxing. This remarkable achievement solidified his reputation as a formidable force in the sport.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: Recognizing the importance of grappling and ground fighting in modern martial arts, Wayne Stokes pursued Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) with great enthusiasm. He dedicated himself to mastering this intricate and strategic combat style. His efforts paid off when he was awarded his black belt in BJJ December 2021, an honor bestowed upon him by the esteemed Braulio Estima, a recognized figure in the BJJ community. This recognition from the Hall of Famer Braulio Estima further solidified Stokes’ expertise in this highly regarded martial art.

 

Keysi Fighting MethodThe Keysi Fighting Method devised by Andy Norman & Justo Diegz: Further expanding his repertoire, Wayne Stokes delved into the Keysi Fighting Method. This comprehensive system blends multiple martial arts disciplines, emphasizing practical techniques for self-defense. With his deep understanding of various martial arts styles, Stokes seamlessly incorporated the principles of the Keysi Fighting Method into his own training and teaching methodology.
