Our Kids Kickboxing End or year tournament kicked off well on Sunday with strong support not only from Oldbury but from our Satelite schools Kingswinford, Sedgley , Quinton & Solihull. I would also like to thank Martin Cope of Eclipse Academy Bloxwich who sent over a strong team. The tournament saw some great up & coming talent and this also high lighted our main event the “light Continous”. For me this usually go towards more full contact because of the nervousness of the first time fighters, some school will let younger children fightn in light continous events but i believe they must have a certain level of skill & age before they enter an event such as this. I am going to work very closely with our instructors over the next few months as many teenagers have expressed interest in this but we have to stress its “light” not full contact. Its was great to see member of Solihull SOBB in attendance its shows we have the same atmosphere and teaching methods that have run so suceesful in our other schools.
